The Detective Veteran character actor Larry Laverty stars Detective Al Cooper in "Son of Terror". He is very busy these days rounding up the homeless, fighting with his ex-wife & keeping his partner Lester in check. Al was unfortunate that John paid a visit to his office. Now he and Lester have to stake out an artist loft all night long instead of the S & M club. Larry is one of the busiest film actors in the country appearing in 90 films in the last decade. He's played a wide range of characters on film, from Priests to pathological liars. Larry appeared in "The Hamiltons" and Gus Van Zant's "Elephant" and has worked alongside character actor David Fine on many occasions. Larry studied acting in San Francisco at the American Conservatory Theatre. He later spent years studying improv with groups like The Groundlings, Second City, and others. Starting out on stage, he performed in over 15 plays and musicals. He's also appeared on numerous television shows as "All My Children", "Port Charles", "Nash Bridges", "Days of Our Lives" and "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno".
